Testimonials
For over ten years now I have been managing Hosting Servers and running my own sites, in that time have used quite a few contract Server Admins, ServerBuddies is in my opinion one of the better ones. Why? Because they are willing to go that extra yard and actually HELP when you have a problem, unlike most they will do whatever is needed to get the problem resolved in the shortest possible time-frame without massive expense.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 Beta is out now

Red Hat’s flagship operating system’s next version is out now in beta for both current subscribers and newcomers.

This beta includes a broad set of updates to the existing feature set and also provides rich new functionality particularly in the areas of performance and scaling, identity management, high availability, advanced storage, and networking as well as enablement for the latest hardware and architectures.

Already the established leader as both a virtual machine guest and hypervisor host, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2 introduces new features and enhanced functionality that reinforces Red Hat Enterprise Linux as the standard operating system platform for the enterprise.

Key functionality in this beta include:

Performance and Scaling

o Kernel-level optimizations implemented in the process scheduler, networking, virtualization, and I/O subsystems will improve performance and scalability.
o Faster creation of ext4 file systems and improved response times in XFS for certain workloads.
o Improved CPU controller, scalability and enhanced resource management features to set processor utilization ceilings.
