cPanel Expands Fast Update Service to East Coast Data Centers, Including InterServer

cPanel, the creator of the most widely used Linux and Windows hosting control panels, recently expanded its Fast Update Service with additional facilities on the East Coast. InterServer, a premier web hosting provider in New Jersey, is one of multiple participants that have provided cPanel with access to its facilities.

The Fast Update service gives cPanel Partners the ability to install and deploy cPanel from a local mirror, instead of through the traditional Internet. The network comprises more than 50 servers located throughout the world, all of which provide a highly effective software distribution system.

cPanel already expanded its Fast Update services to South America and is now looking to increase this service on the East Coast. InterServer has provided cPanel with a great opportunity to expand its network while allowing InterServer to have access to local updates.

cPanel System Administrator Adam Wien said he was pleased with the East Coast expansion and partnership with facilities, such as InterServer, because it will increase the speed of installs and updates by 400 percent.
